Artist's Statement

 My works , painting ,poems, photographs and sculptures are my insights and outsights.

[A way]  Away of life.

My work moves dynamically  between realism and abstraction, bringing visions ,thoughts ,philosophy history and culture from the conscious and unconscious into reality .

A journey of manifestation and transformation Odi  Oquosa - community artist / Shaman.

My works are deeply influence by my African roots. Paintings, Wood and Stone sculptures, textiles and poetry. A metaphoric and organic process of my own emotion. Working with  elements; Earth, water , fire and air in a symbolic forms and shades in union with our universe . For the atonement of oneself   My works also come in  a 2D and 3D formats .

Being pregnant of visions and thoughts and giving birth to understanding  on a canvas as example. Then I can see and reason with it ,in understanding self and my biases.

Manifestation sculpting using Zimbabwe opal and serpentines stones.Tree roots are my best to work with in carving. I unveil their soul and being as and vice versa transformation crafting with Texas natural material from art shops and things I found on the seizures Forest woodlands I work with them in mending and brave for myself and the universe and that gives me my soul my mind on my body the Joy of understanding nature language which has given my world and myself and I identity some of my works are political statements
